   This ceramic coating did a great job protecting my car’s paint. The shine is impressive, and it seems to repel water and dirt well. However, the smell was quite strong, which was a bit unpleasant. Despite that, I would still recommend Magic Shield Ceramic Coating for its effectiveness and durability.

   So I’ve done this, and also had a car professionally done in the past. For the money this is a great product. I am not rating the longevity because not enough time has passed for me to know either way. As far as easy to use, the product itself isnt hard to apply. It comes nicely packaged with everything you need. For a good result though you need to do it under the proper conditions, and give it time to cure etc. so there is a bit of planning required (do it over a weekend) to get the best results. I personally enjoy this kind of thing so I washed and went over my wifes car with a clay bar before I applied the coating. The shine is very nice and makes the paint look even better. The hydrophobic properties make it a breeze to wash now because with just some water, everything just slides right off the surface.

   This item was received exactly as described by the seller. Very fast shipping! Great packaging! Has all you need to do a perfect paint ceramic coating. This product is not the most expensive ceramic coating out there. Probably one of the cheaper but gives an amazing result! Yes, you need to prep the paint first like mentioned in the instruction to have a beautiful shine and protection and it is not as hard as people think! This product can also by applied on all types of plastics. The end results were above my expectation. Definitely will buy again other products from this company Magic Shield through out this seller.    Ok, you’re asking yourself: is this stuff going to have the same results as the CarPro CQuartz or other higher-end brand, at at half or a third of the cost? You should also ask yourself, if you haven’t done this, am I a glutton for punishment, and am I methodical, finicky and obnoxiously detail-oriented? If not, seriously, don’t try this at home. It’s such a lotta work and if you have a less-than-stellar result you’ll be sad. I’ve applied CQuartz 3 times previously and was quite pleased with the results. You should know that the prep for this is absolutely brutal. Set aside some time, especially if your car is older or dirtier, or if you need polishing at the end, etc. So, can this stuff play with the big boys in the field? My test victim was a nearly decade-old Tesla Model S. The paint is fairly well-preserved but is pretty beat up in the front and on the hood. So, the steps are: wash (really, really well), remove iron with Iron-X or similar, clay bar the thing, touch-up paint and seal, then polish. Given the fact that this is a 10 year old car and I have finite patience, I skipped the Iron-X and the polish. The car could have used both, to be honest. But, this thing ain’t going in a showroom, and you don’t notice the imperfections unless you get up close. Check the pics for the final results, with the caveat that the hood was done in CQuartz, the rest of the car in Magic Shield. Presentation: I mean, ok, it’s nice. Black box, nice bottle, etc. But, all that is minor. You’re gonna toss all this stuff. Instructions: pretty good and comprehensive, but there are some flaws. For example, with regard to the wait time, it tells you to check the “ceramic coating instructions”. Wait, isn’t that what I’m reading right now? Oh, maybe the bottle has the time? Nope. It includes an applicator sponge wrapped in microfiber. I much prefer the CQuartz foam brick that you wrap with microfiber cloths. It’s much more stable in the hand, and you can swap out the cloths as needed. The little rectangular sponge they give you deforms way too easily, and by the end is pretty useless. It’s definitely a one-application item. Application process: very similar to the CQuartz. Similar consistency, and similarly hard to see. It’s easiest to see the stuff dry (the flashing or “rainbow”) when you’re in the sun, but you’re not supposed do this in the sun, so have some good lighting. It can be tricky, and you have to be methodical or you’ll miss areas or, god forbid, miss removing the excess. Final result: after comprehensive washing and clay barring, the car is gonna look pretty darn good regardless. The ceramic coating will add a shine and a glossy look, typically. It’s hard to tell, but the CQuartz (hood) appears more glossy to me, but the whole car looks quite nice. With the Cquartz, you can really feel the classic post-application slickness. Your hand glides right off the surface. With the Magic Shield, it feels grippy, almost like a newly-washed car that hasn’t been waxed in a while. If you’re going to use a product like Wash Wax ALL then you’ll get the slipperiness from that product anyway, so there’s that. At the end of the (very long) day, I would say that I can’t help but feel that the grippiness will allow dirt to adhere better, but I have no proof of this. Also, I can’t speak to durability as that’ll take a year or 2. However, I personally prefer CQuartz, despite the cost difference, as I prefer the hand-feel post-application as well as the fact that I know from experience it’ll last for over a year.

    Frankly, I was skeptical at first since I’ve been watching videos and reading about how these so-called “ceramic coating” claims they’re legit and come to find out they’re not. This product “Magic Shield Ceramic Coating PRO 10H” is definitely legit. I did two coats to make sure — and that’s just me. Would one coat be enough, I don’t know, but after I finished coating it, I waited a couple of hours to make sure it’s set before I tested it. All I can say is WOW. This stuff really works. The water beads and they would “shrink”, like they’re moving away from each other. The sight was pretty cool. Even my eight-year-old was impressed how cool the water beads like that. Overall, I’m impressed. This is a legit product. This is a good find.

It is important to understand that there is some knowledge needed to properly prep your car and apply the coating though. Don’t skimp out on the washing and clay bar detailing, as a ceramic coating will only look as good as the base you are applying it to. If you take the time to understand how ceramic coatings work and the steps needed to apply it, this will give you a really nice finish. So far I just applied this to one panel on the rear of my car to see how it looks and hold up to the winter road grime. Plan to finish the rest of the car with it once the weather warms up just a bit, but happy with the results so far.

    Okay, so I finally got around to try out this ceramic coating stuff on my car, and I gotta say, I’m impressed! It wasn’t too complicated to apply, and once it dried, I could instantly see the difference. My car has this crazy shine now, like it just rolled off the showroom floor. Plus, it’s been a few months and the water still beads up and rolls right off. I love how it makes my car look and it’s definitely made washing a whole lot easier. Totally worth it!

    it is reasonable coating, however, I had some issues with it, if you use it on mirrors, even with wiping it, still leaves smug on the mirror. after waiting for 24 hrs, I went out with the car and rain came on it , it was showing water dripping easily off the panel after rain dried on the car, it leaves black stains on the car which I had to wipe out. so not happy about this part, I am not sure I got a defective product, I cleaned the surface twice, use iron removal and also clayed bar the surface.

    So I was a detail manager at a car wash for many years. So this is kind of my area of expertise. In my opinion this stuff works pretty good but it’s not like a fix-all polish or anything. It’s a little thick and hard to get off in some areas if you’re paint is really oxidized but if your paint is in good shape and the majority of your clear coat is intact then you’re not going to have any issues with this polish and it’s going to go pretty well for you and it’s going to be very shiny and clean afterwards. But if you have a lot of oxidization to your paint and you try to apply this it’s going to be rather difficult to get it off but it will help your paint to a degree. You also need to understand that if there’s no clear coat left on top of your paint there’s not a whole lot that this can do. So that being said this is a quality product, it reminds me of a VOC or a carnauba wax. But it’s not going to fix everything for you if your paint is shot so I would recommend it to others but don’t expect it to be a miracle worker

    I recently applied this ceramic coating applied to my car with good the results. The coating provides a deep, glossy finish that really makes the paint pop. It also offers excellent protection against the elements, including UV rays, bird droppings, and road debris. I have noticed a significant reduction in water spots and dirt buildup on the paint.     So I’ve used one kit on about 5 cars now, only a single coating. I didn’t use the applicator or anything included in the kit aside from the ceramic itself. I haven’t seen any of the cars I applied to come back ever, but I heard from some of my old squad at the dealerships that I detail for that when they washed these cars, almost nothing would stick to them. I find this most favorable on the face of the wheels for some reason [I use an electric powered air brush to apply in to the wheels, let sit for a minute and then wipe]. The amount of care I put into my ceramic work regardless of what brand it is is as best as I myself can get [skill level doesn’t matter in this aspect, what you put it will determine what you get out of it- if you don’t do your due diligence and decon and do paint correction etc, you won’t get a good finish after you’ve applied the ceramic…]. I applied it to a C8 corvette with chrome powder wheels. My squad could see the car from the street about a 10th of a mile down the road, it was gleaming so much. they called me up and asked how the wheels got so white and i explained they were chrome. the shine is absolutely scary. I can’t see gloss so well unless it’s a obvious before\after, or after a sanding and polish, but I could clearly see how stellar the shine was afterwards on this red corvette. It’s kind of thick to run through an air brush at 30psi with around a .3 tip, but it’ll come out. After around 3 cars, I left some of the coating inside the threads before closing it up to see how it would react later, this coating was like glass, I thought I broke the cap and everything! I definitely believe even if it isn’t 10h as advertised [I can believe it is, but I will be testing that by the end of next month], it is definitely a VERY strong coating. At the price point I paid for it, it was around $40+, so I was kind of sad seeing its price drop, I was under the assumption it wasn’t as good of a product. It definitely is an amazing product overall, and I have tons of cars to test it on to see how far it goes and how I can break it down if I ever need to. I’m also going to do a comparison against my favorite go-to ceramic and see how well it goes against, or if I can stack with my favorite ceramics. I’ll find pictures and videos as I do more applications, and I guarantee I’ll be buying a lot more of this product in the future. I’m so hyped up over it that I’m trying to convince him to use it on his black mercedes. I’m almost tempted to snag a bottle of the graphene coating as well just to play with it, i like this one so much.

    Unfortunately the weather and temps in Ohio are preventing me from fully evaluating this coating. I will come back this summer to report on application, shine, and durability. Having used several coatings from these smaller named companies, the bang for the buck is always excelllent. You dont need to pay more for a big name to get most of the benefits. The Only thing your sacrificing is perhaps some durability, but I don’t have the data to support that, cause I refuse the pay the absurd prices for high end named brand coatings. I would like to see graphene ipo ceramic at this price point, as others do. All the usual items are included, coating, gloves, applicator, microfiber removal cloth, and instructions. The bottle is a good size at 50ml, should easily do 2 – 3 vehicles. The best part of this package, odd the applicator. Most include 2 piece applicators, a foam block and microfiber sheet to wrap around the foam. This one is all in one as it should be, nice job!

My test victim was a nearly decade-old Tesla Model S. The paint is fairly well-preserved but is pretty beat up in the front and on the hood. So, the steps are: wash (really, really well), remove iron with Iron-X or similar, clay bar the thing, touch-up paint and seal, then polish. Given the fact that this is a 10 year old car and I have finite patience, I skipped the Iron-X and the polish. The car could have used both, to be honest. But, this thing ain’t going in a showroom, and you don’t notice the imperfections unless you get up close. Check the pics for the final results, with the caveat that the hood was done in CQuartz, the rest of the car in Magic Shield. Presentation: I mean, ok, it’s nice. Black box, nice bottle, etc. But, all that is minor. You’re gonna toss all this stuff. Instructions: pretty good and comprehensive, but there are some flaws. For example, with regard to the wait time, it tells you to check the “ceramic coating instructions”. Wait, isn’t that what I’m reading right now? Oh, maybe the bottle has the time? Nope. It includes an applicator sponge wrapped in microfiber. I much prefer the CQuartz foam brick that you wrap with microfiber cloths. It’s much more stable in the hand, and you can swap out the cloths as needed. The little rectangular sponge they give you deforms way too easily, and by the end is pretty useless. It’s definitely a one-application item. Application process: very similar to the CQuartz. Similar consistency, and similarly hard to see. It’s easiest to see the stuff dry (the flashing or “rainbow”) when you’re in the sun, but you’re not supposed do this in the sun, so have some good lighting. It can be tricky, and you have to be methodical or you’ll miss areas or, god forbid, miss removing the excess. Final result: after comprehensive washing and clay barring, the car is gonna look pretty darn good regardless. The ceramic coating will add a shine and a glossy look, typically. It’s hard to tell, but the CQuartz (hood) appears more glossy to me, but the whole car looks quite nice. With the Cquartz, you can really feel the classic post-application slickness. Your hand glides right off the surface. With the Magic Shield, it feels grippy, almost like a newly-washed car that hasn’t been waxed in a while. If you’re going to use a product like Wash Wax ALL then you’ll get the slipperiness from that product anyway, so there’s that. At the end of the (very long) day, I would say that I can’t help but feel that the grippiness will allow dirt to adhere better, but I have no proof of this. Also, I can’t speak to durability as that’ll take a year or 2. However, I personally prefer CQuartz, despite the cost difference, as I prefer the hand-feel post-application as well as the fact that I know from experience it’ll last for over a year.

    plied to very aged and neglected paint after a two-step paint correction. This product never hazes, flashes, or gives you that oil slick look. I would just apply to a panel, wait 3 minutes, then use the two-towel method to remove. By time I was done with a panel and then the 3 minutes, I would be around that 5 minute mark. I would first remove the bulk of what was left with one microfiber towel, then finish removing what little “haze” was left with a different microfiber cloth. The Look: It definitely is different. It makes the paint look richer/deeper. It really does look like a very fine layer of glass was laid over the vehicle. Carnuba has nothing on the “wet” look this ceramic coating has. The Feel: Application was as expected. It was easy to remove even on a warm humid day. This coating does NOT leave a “slick” feel. It is instead very “grippy.” I don’t mean sticky. I mean, it is so smooth and clean that it has this certain amount of natural-feeling grippiness to it. I’ll be topping it with another ceramic spray product that adds slickness and hydrophobicity. But is it real ceramic coating? YES. When I first opened the package, the top was quite difficult to remove. Some of the coating got past the rubber stopper and around the threads. I had to use a piece of pointy steel to carefully “chip” away at the cured coating around the threads. If you don’t fully “buff” away the residue, it will cure into an ugly smudge that is quite difficult to remove. Do I recommend it? All depends. It wasn’t expensive. Application wasn’t complicated in the slightest. Would I buy it again? Probably not. I would pony up the extra money for a more expensive coating that doesn’t leave the surface so ‘grippy.’

    it is reasonable coating, however, I had some issues with it, if you use it on mirrors, even with wiping it, still leaves smug on the mirror. after waiting for 24 hrs, I went out with the car and rain came on it , it was showing water dripping easily off the panel after rain dried on the car, it leaves black stains on the car which I had to wipe out. so not happy about this part, I am not sure I got a defective product, I cleaned the surface twice, use iron removal and also clayed bar the surface.

    Bought this to protect my carbon fiber gravel bike frame from collecting too much mud and grit. Supplied kit is easy to use: the sponge and microfibre are good quality and the coating goes on well. I applied two coats 24 hrs apart after meticulously cleaning my frame. Haven’t had a chance to test the water/dirt repellency yet because I’m still stuck in winter snow and road salt, but hope to soon. Application instructions are somewhat vague but really, the main thing is to smooth on an even coat, wait about five minutes, then wipe off the excess with supplied microfibre. A tiny bit goes a long way. Vital to disassemble and clean frame as much as needed to access all the nooks and crannies. Wash, rinse, degrease with isopropyl alcohol. It can be hard to see where you applied the coating, so good lighting is important and do small sections at a time, e.g. top tube, then down tube, fork, etc. Leaves a shiny “wet” look to paint (even over minor scratches) giving colour depth. Certainly looks great. If it works out well on my gravel bike, will apply to new road bike frame for extra candy appeal. Would rate five stars except I haven’t teated durability yet.

     I’ve tried a lot of ceramic coatings, but this one with 10H hardness is by far the best. My car looks stunning, with a rich, glossy finish that turns heads. Water and dirt don’t stick, making cleaning so much easier. Application was simple, and it dried to a beautiful, streak-free finish. It’s been a few weeks, and my car still looks freshly detailed. Highly recommend!

     I put this on my 2022 Ford F-150. I use the truck for work, so it takes a beating. The 10H hardness claim caught my eye. It’s been on for about 2 months now, and I’ve noticed way fewer light scratches from bushes and wash mitts. The mud literally falls off when I hose it down. Solid protection.

     I was a bit intimidated to try a “real” ceramic coating that comes in a small bottle, but this kit made it surprisingly easy. It comes with everything you need—the sponge, the cloths, even gloves. I followed the instructions, applying it in small sections on my black Tesla Model 3. The gloss is significantly deeper than any spray wax I’ve used. It looks like the car is wet.

     The results are amazing, my Toyota RAV4 looks better than new. The hydrophobic effect is crazy. I’m giving 4 stars only because the bottle is quite small (50ml). It was enough to do my SUV with two coats, but just barely. If you have a huge truck, maybe buy two kits. Performance-wise, it’s a 5.

     I have a carbon fiber hood and spoiler on my BMW M3, and I wanted something specifically to protect them from UV yellowing. The description said it works on carbon fiber, so I gave it a shot. It went on smooth and made the weave pop beautifully. No hazing at all.

     I’m a detailer and usually charge $800+ for a ceramic package. I tested this Magic Shield Pro kit on my personal daily driver (Honda Civic). Honestly? It rivals the professional-grade stuff I buy in bulk. The flash time is predictable, and it wipes off clean without being sticky. The 24-month claim seems realistic given how hard it cured.

     Used this on my boat! The fiberglass gel coat was starting to oxidize a bit. I polished it and sealed it with this coating. It’s been in the water for a month and there’s no scum line sticking to the hull. Very impressed that it holds up in marine environments.

     The “Self Healing” property is cool. I had some very fine swirl marks on my door pillar. After applying this coating, they seemed to fill in and disappear. It leaves a very thick, glass-like shell over the paint.

     I applied this to my wheels specifically. Brake dust on my Audi is a nightmare. Since coating the rims, I barely have to scrub. The dust just rinses away. It withstands the heat from the brakes perfectly.

     Don’t rush the prep work! Wash, clay, and polish your car first. This coating seals everything in. I did all the prep on my Mazda CX-5 and the final result is showroom quality. The depth of the red paint is unbelievable.

     I park my car under a tree and bird droppings are a constant issue. They usually etch the paint within hours. With this 10H coating, the droppings just sit on top and wipe off without leaving a mark. It really does protect against “acid” stuff like the box says.
